FInal BDS 101 Project!

These are the photos of my final project... I really like the way it turned out! I am really glad that I decided to go with this design over the looped design and I'm glad that I tried a new method of attachment. The glue looked messy and this looks a lot cleaner and more precise.

Final Light Process Photos!

This are my process pictures for my final BDS 101 project. I decided on the circle/ pebble looking design with the braided paper. I used hot glue to glue each of the circles on and I used glued on tabs to connect the braids and each different triangle piece.

I really like the way my book for the group part of this project turned out. I think that this type of book worked really well with the photos and words that we had to include. I wish that the photos would have printed a little bit clearer.

Progress on the Light for the Last Project

My first attempt at my final light...
The braiding and loop-making definitely takes a long time, but I think it will be worth it. I really like the texture in the braids and the three dimensional qualities of the loops.
The gluing is a little bit messy, so I think i will redo it for the final. And I still need to decide between a pyramid and a hanging light.
