I was so nervous about starting to work in the shop. I actually had a lot of fun! I liked learning new skills with new machinery and it was fun to problem solve to create the design I wanted. The people there were very helpful... And I ended up keeping all ten of my fingers.
I'm excited to be done using power tools for now... but I'm sure it will be good to know how to use them in the future.
